'Genocidal Organ' Film was Partially Complete Before Bankruptcy of Manglobe

Genocidal Organ is slated to premiere in Japan on Febuary 3. In a recent interview done by the Animate Times website on Thursday, the film’s producer Koji Yamamoto revealed that the movie was 20% complete when the anime film’s first studio Manglobe went bankrupt.

The anime was able to reach sound production stage just one month before its original movie premiere date which was on November 13, 2015 only to find out that the film did not even reach 60% of completion as previously reported by the film’s staff.

So many retakes had to be done when it comes to the colors which took them half a year to maintain its quality. As the project went on, more mistakes surfaced. This had complicated the animation studio and finally announced their bankrupcy to the public.

Following the bankrupcy of the said studio, Director and writer for the Genocidal Organ anime movie adaptation Shukou Murase along with the “other main staff members” continued to produce the anime movie at Geno Studio.
