'Re:Life' live action film streams two more trailers

This Thursday, the live-action adaptation film of Yayaoiso’s Re:Life manga has streamed two more new trailer in its official website. The trailer features “Message” song by Sonoko Inoue. Inoue is also the one who performed the film’s theme song, “Sakura.”

Re:Life live action movie is slated to open in Japanese theaters starting April 15. According to reports, the movie will have its own original ending.

The film, directed by Takeshi Furusawa, is based on Yayaoiso’s Re:Life manga, which debuted at Comico free manga app in 2013. Yayaoiso’s work also inspired a 13-episode television anime series in early 2015, directed by Tomo Kosaka at studio TMS Entertainment.

The manga tells the story of Arata Kaizaki, an unemployed and single 27-year-old. Arata finds it difficult to find a new employer after leaving his previous job in just within three months. One night, Arata meets Ryō Yoake, who offered him a chance to redo his life through pills that could turn him back into a 17-year-old.

Taishi Nakagawa will play as Arata Kaizaki, and Yudai Chiba as Ryō Yoake. Other main cast includes Yūna Taira as Chizuru Hishiro, Mahiro Takasugi as Kazuomi Ōga, Elaiza Ikeda as Rena Kariu, and Sae Okazaki as An Onoya.
