Over the past few years up to this point, millions of viewers hastily looked for new ways to entertain themselves.
More details have been released for the upcoming anime film “King of Prism: PRIDE the HERO” the follow up to the spin off film “KING OF PRISM’’ to the series “Pretty Rhtythm”. According to its official site a new character has been added to the cast.
Set to premier in Japan on June 10 and directed by the man making his comeback and has previously directed the various “Pretty Rhythm” series Masakazu Hishida, he along with other members of the staff are recognized for their work in the “Pretty Rhythm” series and the spin off.
The story for this film follows Shin Ichijo and seven other students who wish to become Prism Stars by joining the Edel Rose training school. However, their path will not be easy as a plot over the destruction of Edel Rose is being made by Jin Norizuki of Schwarz Rose. The performers from Edel Rose make their move to save the school even while facing their own personal issues. It all boils down to who will take the title of King of Prism in the Prism King Cup.
For the new character that is to be in the cast, they are known as is the strongest idol in Schwarz Rose’s The Shuffle! idol group, George Takadanobaba. He is to be played Tomokazu Sugita, a voice actor recognized for his roles in various popular anime including “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma” as Etsuya Eizen and “Haven’t you Heard? I’m Sakamoto” as Aachan.
With the other main cast they are to be previous actors reprising their role. As for the rest of the staff, as stated a few of them have done work with the “Pretty Rhythm” series. Making his comeback as a scriptwriter for the film is Yoshihiro Otobe. Working on the character designs having been credited previously for the original character designs is Mai Matsuura.
