For this year’s 26th Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival, the opening film shall be anime feature film “Hirunehime -Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari” a.k.a “Princess Nap -The Story of Unknown Me” as announced at a press conference held yesterday in Sapporo, Japan.
Spanning for around an hour the film tells the story of high school student and “napper” Kokone Morikawa, living alone with her father in Kurashiki, Okayama. Lately she has had recurring dreams that she tries to understand. Though with the on goings pf her reality she finds less time to nap and yet events have occurred in relation to her family and it seems her dreams hold the key behind it.
The event itself shall be running from March 2 up to March 6 and is scheduled to be showing a total of 86 films. In addition to being the opening film for the festival it has also been announced that the film shall be having its premier on March 18 in Japan.
