The official website of the upcoming live-action television series based on Yayoi Ogawa’s Kimi wa Pet (Tramps Like Us) romance manga series has released the show’s trailer in stream.
Apart from , introducing the show’s characters, the trailer also revealed that the first episode of the television series will air at Fuji TV on February 6 next year.
Kimi wa Pet tells the story of a tall and beautiful editor of an established newspaper named Sumire Iwaya. Sumire, who was demoted by her boss, was also dumped by her fiancé, choosing his pregnant mistress over her, causing her to get depressed.
While walking on a street, Sumire finds a homeless boy on the street who resembles her childhood pet, Momo. She jokingly asked the boy if she could take him home as a pet. To Sumire’s surprise, the boy took her offer.
Noko Iriyama will play Sumire Iyawa [left] while Jun Shison as Momo/ Takeshi Goda [right].
