The new manga to anime adaptation created by Mitsuki, “Hinako Note” has been announced in its official site on Thursday that it is to premier in April 2017 and the main cast has been set along with the release of key visuals for the main characters.
The story for the anime is as goes; Hinako, a young girl who lives in a rural area of Japan and has trouble in speaking wishes to improve herself so that she may be able to speak freely to others. Upon entering high school, she decides to transfer schools in Tokyo and enter a theatre club. The moment she arrives however she finds that her dorm is a second-hand bookstore and a girl who of all things eats books lives there.
Published in August 2014 the adaptation is to be under Takeo Takahashi (known to have directed works such as “Rozen Maiden” and “Spice and Wolf”) as chief director with Kazuyuki Ueda as chief animation director, having worked on popular works such as “Fairy Tail” and “Honey and Clover”.
For the cast is actress and voice actress Mao Ichimichi a.k.a “M.A.O” playing as protagonist Hinako Sakuragi.
Playing as another main character known as Kuina Natsugwa is idol singer and voice actress Miyu Tomita
Voicing for character Mayuki Hiiragi is singer, pop idol, actress and voice actress known to be part of idol duo YuiKaori, Yui Ogara.
Another voice for the main cast is voice actress Hisako Tojo, known to have voiced main character Kurika Ushirode of ping pong anime “Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume”
Last but not least, playing for character Yuri Yoshida is a possibly new voice to the anime scene, Ruriko Kuroyanagi.
Additional to the announcement of release month, cast and release of character designs, the site has also announced of a special stage event for the anime to be held on March 25 at AnimeJapan 2017 where the shall be making a scheduled appearance.
