# 'Saint Seiya' Spinoff Manga Gets Anime Adaptation <img src="http://i.imgur.com/sO8GyDc.png"> <i>Saint Seiya</i> is probably one of the series that shaped your childhood back in the day. Fans of this series are in for something good as an anime adaptation of the spinoff manga <i>Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō</i> is green lit. The announcement was released in the official <i>Champion RED magazine</i> website. The spin-off is based from the manga of the same name created Chimaki Kuori, whose known for other works like <i>Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: The Edge</i>, <i>Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack</i>, and <i>Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: The Edge Desire</i>. <i>Champion RED</i> have stated previously that they will be releasing an "important announcement" related the well-loved franchise. The manga storyline is set after the Sanctuary arc after the Gemini Saga's defeat from Masami Kurumada's original <i>Saint Seiya</i> manga storyline.
