Another announcement from the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 revealed an upcoming anime adaptation of Ryo Mizuno’s Grancrest Senki/Record of Grancrest War. Other details regarding the anime adaptation is yet to be announced.
It was confirmed during the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 in Akihabara that the famous action fantasy light novel series High School DxD by Ichiei Ishibumi will be having a new anime series. The light novel series started on September 2008, and successfully yielded 22 volumes and 3.
Sekina Aoi’s school comedy light novel series Gamers. is expected to have its anime adaptation, according to an official announcement during the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 in Akihabara. This will be the second time that Sekina Aoi’s works would be given an animated series, after his Student Council’s Discretion two TV anime adaptations in 2009 by Studio Deen and 2013 by AIC.
It was announced during the Fantasia Bunko Big Thanks Festival 2016 in Akihabara that Shoji Gatoh’s Full Metal Panic will be having its new TV anime adaptation in fall 2017. Aside from that, they are already working on an audio drama based on the “Odoru Very Merry Christmas” episode.
Famitsu leaked out their first screens of the upcoming second Attack on Titan game based on Hajime Isayama’s popular manga. The said game is titled Shingeki no Kyojin: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu (Attack on Titan:Escape from the Jaws of Death) and will be released in Japan by 2017.
Mixi’s smartphone game “Monster Strike” film adaptation will be out by December 10, and two trailers from Warner Brothers Japan are already out to show the features of the film, particularly its theme song “Yume no Arika” (The Hiding Place of Dreams) sang by Naoto Inti Raymi in the new teaser.
The smartphone game “Starly Girls –Episode Starsia” under Aeria Games and Kadokawa Games will have its own anime adaptation online by 2018. This was announced by the same companies during the presentation event of the Alpha Games in Beijing, China last October 14.
Rin Mikimoto’s romantic shoujo manga Kyo no Kira-kun will have its live-action film adaptation released in Japanese theaters on February 25, 2017. The said project was directed by Yasuhiro Kawamura. A new trailer is already out and it shows the romantic drama comedy aspects of the upcoming film.
As part of their 20th anniversary celebration, Toonami will present a 25-minute, five-part film directed by the anime legend Mamoru Oshii. The project is entitled “Sand Whale and Me” and the first part will be premiered on March 18.
The new “Pokemon Sun & Moon” TV anime series will be aired in Japan on November 17, and the production released their second promotional video last Monday. Ash’s narration of his upcoming adventures in the Alola region with his Z-moves action present in the Pokemon game version is previewed in the said trailer.
