An anime that makes the usually scary and bizarre beings that are youkai look strangely adorable, “Youkai Watch” is a show that takes a new spin on the supernatural genre involving youkai (demons or mythical beings in Japan).

Yen Press has licensed three more Kingdom Hearts light novel series. In its Twitter account, Yen Press revealed last week that it has acquired the license to publish the following titles: Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

The New York Times has released it’s list of best selling mangas from November 20 to 26, with no other than Akira Himekawa’s The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition, Volume 1 topping the list. In this volume,Viz Media published the collection of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina manga series.

It’s been almost a week since Sunrise announced that Code Geass will be getting its sequel anime entitled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Ressurection). According to Sunrise, the story will take place several years after the “Zero Requiem.

The manga archive of shoujo is large and full a different and unique stories, cliches and all. But even among the various stories there are times that they seem to be parallel to one another to the point of being highly predictable.

As of this year there has been multiple announcements of anime to live action adaptations whether it be a film or a series. Prior to this year live action adaptations were mostly seen as an extension for highly popular anime.

The much-loved tale of Naruto isn’t about to just end yet. Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's second compilation of Boruto manga revealed on Friday, December 2, that three Naruto Shippūden epilogue novels will be adapted by the anime series and will run from December this year until February 2017.

Natsume Ono's ACCA 13-Ku Kansatsu-Ka manga will have an anime adaptation. According to its official website, the first episode is scheduled to premiere on January 10 (11pm Japan Standard Time). The story is set in a world that is separated into 13 wards with an observation division under the authority of the organization "ACCA".

In a recent announcement during the Tokyo Comic Con on Friday, the staff of the upcoming live-action adaptation of Full Metal Alchemist revealed that the movie is slated for a December 2017 premiere in Japan.

Lupid the Third fans, get hyped. An upcoming movie titled Lupin the IIIrd Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon (Lupin the Third: Goemon Ishikawa's Spray of Blood) will premiere this February 4. The official website has officially released the trailer video as well as the poster visuals.
