It tells the story of warrior-prince Ashitaka who journeys to the west in search of a cure to a curse that has fallen on him. On his journey he stumbles upon the headstrong Lady Eboshi, her people in Iron Town, and their struggle with Princess Mononoke, a mysterious young girl who was raised by wolves who fights to save her forest home from the destructive ways of humans.
