One Punch Man season 2 is just around the corner, and the highly popular animé series is drumming up the excitement for its fans! It was recently announced that martial artist Suiryu, top contender in the Super Fight tournament, will appear in One Punch Man Season 2.

First appearing in chapter 62 of the manga, Suiryu was presented as someone almost similar to Saitama. Because of his great skill and strength, he, like Saitama, is also looking for worthy opponents. While their face-off in the Super Fight Arc ended up in a default win for Suiryu, it would still be exciting to see their epic fight onscreen!

Suiryu will be voiced by Masaya Matsukaze, who voiced Teru Mikami in Death Note. Masaya joins the other confirmed cast for One Punch Man season 2, such as Makoto Furukawa as Saitama and Kaito Ishikawa as Genos.

One Punch Man season 2 is set for an April release. Chikara Sakurai has replaced Shingo Natsume as director of the series. JC Staff will be animating the second season, replacing Madhouse.
