Hatsune Miku to Light Up Snow Miku Festival in Sapporo!

If you have travel plans to Japan next year, make sure you set the dates on February— just in time for the Snow Miku Festival! This year’s theme song is “Star Night Snow” composed by both n-buna and Orangestar. You can listen to the song below:

An event that earns over 100 million yen and participated by over 40 companies, the Snow Miku Festival will happen on February 6 to 12, 2017 at Odori Park, Sapporo Factory, and Sound Lab mole.

Visitors are in for a treat as exclusive Miku merchandise, live performances, and workshops will take place through these days of festivies. If that’s not enough for you, you can even go around the place in an awesome street car that is designed in a Hatsune Miku theme!

Snow Miku has been notable of changing her look, design, and theme every year. For the first time, this year’s design was based on a popular vote which is “the starry sky/constellation of the winter Hokkaido.” If you look at the key visuals (illustrated by Comet) below, you would really say that they really made the right choice!
