Congratulations are in order for popular anisong singer LiSA and her longtime boyfriend, veteran voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki! This Wednesday, January 22, LiSA updated her official Instagram and website with a message announcing that she has registered her marriage with Suzuki. Her message translates to English as such:
“To everyone who has always been supporting me,
I would like to announce that I, LiSA, have married Tatsuhisa Suzuki.
Suzuki-san is a person who will strongly support you when you have any troubles in your daily life.
Not just for me but for both of us, thinking of our lives together, we have decided to get married.
For everyone who has always believed in me, to those who have shared important moments with me — I will bring the best music, the best concerts, and always a “Great Day” to you all!
From now on as well, LiSA will bring it with her entire being.

LiSA debuted as the vocalist of indie band Chucky, and when the group disbanded in 2008, she moved to Tokyo to pursue a solo singing career. She made her major debut as part of the fictional group Girls Dead Monster in the 2010 anime series Angel Beats!. Her name gained traction with the anime community when she sang “Oath Sign”, the opening theme song for the 2011 hit anime series Fate/Zero. In 2012, she was tapped to sing “Crossing Field”, opening song of Sword Art Online. She has since performed numerous songs for other hit anime series, most recent of which is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s opening theme song. “Gurenge”
Tatsuhisa Suzuki has a prolific career in voice acting, voicing well-known characters such as Kazunari Takao of Kuroko’s Basketball and Makoto Tachibana in Free!. He also performed as Ranmaru Kurosaki in the Uta no Prince Sama franchise, as well the vocalist for OLDCODEX band.
