Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa is on a roll these days, what with her debut in the newest trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake as well as the “issue” with the downsizing of her chest. And now, Square Enix has just announced via a livestream on Tuesday that everyone’s favorite AVALANCHE gal is set to join other Final Fantasy characters in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT! Her character will be playable in the game’s arcade version by June 27, while she will arrive as a paid DLC on the Play Station 4 and PC version on July 3. Square Enix released a trailer for her character’s appearance in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, which you can check out below:
In the video above, we see that Tifa is sporting her character’s original 1997 look—a white tank top with brown suspenders and a more pronounced chest. We see her battling Final Fantasy VII’s resident baddie Sephiroth, and in the second part of the video we also see her sporting her all-black ensemble in Advent Children. At the end of the video, we see her doing her final pose, with Cloud Strife in the background. According to Square Enix, she is classified as a speed/agility-class character in Dissidia NT.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a three-on-three fighting game developed by Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja, mostly known for the Dead or Alive series. It was first released as an arcade game in 2015, with the console port for the Play Station 4 and PC released worldwide on January 2018. A free version of the game, which does not include the story mode but includes online battle features was released for western markets last March 12.
The game features key characters from other Final Fantasy franchises, such as Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII, Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy IX, and Yuna from Final Fantasy X.
