This year’s Anime Expo just keeps getting bigger and bigger! First it was announced that renowned author of Ouran Highschool Host Club Bisco Hatori will be gracing the event as a special guest. This time, Anime Expo has announced that they will be guesting the highly-popular group from the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise, Aqours!
The announcement, which was released in the official website of the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise, stated that the group will be performing at anime expo for two days, July 5 and 6. Their special live concert will be entitled LOVE LIVE! SUNSHINE!! Aqours World LoveLive! in LA BRAND NEW WAVE~” This will be Aqours’ second time to perform in the US, after last year’s "LOVELIVE! SUNSHINE!! Aqours World Love Live! in LA ~Beyond the Pacific" at the Microsoft Theater. Unfortunately, Kurosawa Dia’s VA and 3D counterpart Komiya Arisa will not be able to perform in this event, as she is still on a hiatus from Aqours activities due to her acute allergies.
