It was confirmed in a listing by Amazon that the anime adaptation of FuRyu’s smartphone game Pastel Memories is confirmed to have a total of 12 episodes.
The anime will premiere in Japan on January 8. Sentai Filmwork is confirmed to steam the anime and release on home video.
The story of Pastel Memories takes place in “a little bit in the future in 20XX” Akihabara. The once called “the otaku holy land” is now in decline as the otaku culture itself has declined. You (the player) take the role of a manager of the few remaining “otaku shops” in Akihabara. You help “raise” various cute otaku girls and together you battle a “virus” that is infecting the world of various works while also retrieving the lost “memories” of people as well.
