The last episode of notoriously graphic anime Goblin Slayer aired recently on Crunchyroll’s streaming platform, and ended with a message “Goblin Slayer will return”, indicating the anime has likely been confirmed for a second season.

“Will return” is a trope on TVTropes as it’s been so commonly used to suggest, yes, there will be a sequel to this show.

Avengers: Infinity War ends with the words “Thanos will return”, highlighting the ending, and not ending with “The Avengers will return,” as you might expect.
