An update has been made on the official website and Twitter account of animation studio Bouncy’s new “Himote House” anime as new staff details and a list of premiere dates are revealed for the upcoming series.
“Himote House” is a comedy anime that sets in Nakano, Tokyo and takes focus on five girls and one cat all living as housemates. There are sisters Tokiyo, Kinami and Kokoro Himote whose family manages the “Himote House.” Then there are Kokoro’s classmates Tae and Minamo and a cat named Enishi. All five girls live their days trying to figure out ways to be popular. However, they are no ordinary girls, as all five and their cat hold a mysterious power.
The series will be making its debut on October 4 and will be streamed on Tokyo MX, BS11, and the GyaO! at 25:50, 24:45, and 25:00 (all effectively on October 8 morning), respectively. Following this, the show will be aired on J: COM on October 8 at 10:45 p.m.
It was previously revealed that Kōtarō Ishidate, the writer behind the “gdgd Fairies” would be directing the anime. Now it has been confirmed that they will be working on the series composition and are credited for the original idea. Also revealed in a previous report was artist booota, who worked on the “Seven Senses of the Reunion”, to work on the character designs.
For the newly revealed staff members, there is animation director Mikinori Suzuki, a 3DCG Animator of the “Yowamushi Pedal” series. Then there is Junichi Inoue, the lab manager for a number of “Detective Conan” films, to work on the music composition along with Hajime, the composer behind the “Minaral Diva” series. Other staff members to work on the series include THINKR on the visual design and Linked Brain for CG and video production. The anime will be produced by Bouncy which is credited for the original work.
