An official website is opened for the six-part K: Seven Stories theatrical anime project in the K franchise and with it is the reveal of a key visual for the project’s first episode.
Titled as “R:B Blaze”, the first episode will be making its appearance in theaters on July 7 along with a short spinoff movie titled “The Idol K” which will be screened alongside each episode of the project.
For the rest of the episodes, the release schedule for the works is as follows:
Episode 2 SIDE:BLUE Tenrō no Gotoku (Like Sirius) opens on August 4
Episode 3 SIDE:GREEN ~Uwagaki Sekai (The Overwritten World) opens on September 1
Episode 4 Lost Small World Ori no Mukō ni (To the Other Side of the Cage) opens on October 6
Episode 5 Memory of Red ~BURN opens on November 3
Episode 6 Circle Vision Nameless Song opens on December 1
Both the episode and the spinoff work hold the same staff members with Shingo Suzuki, the original director of the anime series, making his return as director and character designer for the project. Also making their return is Mikio Endo for the music composition. Working on the series script is GoRA and performing the theme song “Seven Stories” for the work is angela.

Three titles for the project’s episodes all derive from the novels in the franchise and the spinoff work is based on a parody book that reimagines if the characters in the franchise were all idols. Out of the six episodes, the sixth will be telling a new story.
The “K”, also known as the “K Project” anime series first came out in October 2012 and ran for a total of 13 episodes before ending in December of that year. A second season of the series was later launched in October 2015 and it ran until the month of December 2015 with 13 episodes.
