During the release of the spinoff manga of My Hero Academa titled My Hero Academia: Vigilantes on Tuesday, it was revealed via a tweet by manga artist Betten Court that the manga volume’s wraparound jacket revealed the official date of My Hero Academia’s third season.
Get your quirks ready as the third season will kick-off officially in Japan on April 7. Funimation has confirmed to be streaming the series for the west.
The announcement of the third season was confirmed during the “My Hero Academia: U.A. School [Heroes’ Cultural] Festival” event and will cover the forest school trip arc same as the manga.
The anime is based from the manga series of the same name created by Kohei Horikoshi. It was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014 with 16 compiled volumes released so far.
Aside from the announcement of the new season, the franchise’s anime film titled My Hero Academia THE MOVIE will premiere this summer.
