Dragon B Super brings a New Character with its Latest Episode

“Dragon Ball Super” reveals a new cast/character who will be making his appearance in the 115th episode of the series. Making his appearance is the series’ very own opening theme song performer Kiyoshi Hikawa.

He will be under the guidance of Masako Nozawa, the current voice of Goku. As for his role as the opening theme song performer, the song is titled, ““Genkai Toppa × Survivor.” When speaking about his role for the series, he relayed how much of an honor it was seeing as he enjoyed the series himself.

Kiyoshi Hikawa is a Japanese Enka singer who is also known as “The Prince of Enka” due to his young age and popularity. When he is marketing non-enka music, he goes by the name KIYOSHI.

“Dragon Ball Super” is the first Dragon Ball television series featuring a new storyline in 18 years and was launched on July 5, 2015. With 114 episodes at the moment, the series is the retelling of the aftermath two films that took place after the events of “Dragon Ball Z”, “Dragon Ball Z” films, “Battle of Gods” and “Resurrection ‘F.’”

While this is the general background of the story, the main story of the series takes on something completely new for the franchise, involving not only the exploration of other universes but also the return of Future Trunks.

Once again a new threat has come to his Earth and this time known as Goku Black and a Supreme Kai from Universe 10 named Zamasu. In order to save not only the world but the entire universe this time round, the Z Fighters will participate in a universal tournament held by Zeno-sama to decide the fate of multiple universes.

Created by Akira Toriyama, the franchise has long been running since the 1984 manga series written and illustrated by Toriyama and serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump. Over the years the franchise has created multiple adaptations with over hundreds of chapters in manga and is one of the longest running anime series known in the community. More than its anime and manga works though, the franchise has also dished out much merchandise and even have a number of video games as well.
