Developers Talk More Features for 'God Eater 3'

Director Hiroshi Yoshimura, producer Yusuke Tomiyama, character designer Kurumi Kobayashi, and general producer Yusuke Tomizawa of the upcoming “God Eater 3” have gathered together for a special interview on the upcoming features of God Eater 3. This was recently featured in this week’s issue of Dengeki Playstation.

Below contains a summary of the game’s highlights:

Players will still be able to customize their avatar’s appearance like previous games but with an addition of a new feature that allows the protagonist’s face and arms to be blacked out and will have you able to use new equipment for power and healing enforcement.
In comparison to the other games however, rather than being a character, the protagonist will be more of an extension of the player, in short, a tool.

Players are now able to play with allies and experience a more dramatic and cooperative types of gameplay as you create strategies in keeping everyone alive from the Aragami.

If the player gets devoured by an Aragami, there will be an unprecedented “revitalization” power-up for the monster. They will be given access ti a new type of weaponry in the game called “two-handed God Arcs”. Regardless of these new additions, players still have access to previous weapon types from the previous God Eater games as well.

The game is still set in a world that is still as chaotic as ever. Developers have discussed that the game they will be smoother and have a less complicated game introduction as they wanted to do something fresh with a focus on its seriousness and the fear of Aragami.

The game is currently in development for home consoles and another report has been made stating that former Bandai Namco composer, Go Shiina will be working on the music of “God Eater 3” and “God Eater: Resonant Ops.”

The game was first announced on October 7 at the “God Eater” New Information Announcement Broadcast Event held during the series’ first orchestral concert. When revealed, a story had already been established. The game sets itself in a world that is slowly being consumed by the terrifying and destructive monsters called the Aragami.

The only defenses against these monstrous beings are the God Eaters, special beings that have been blessed with the power to wield powerful weapons capable of destroying Aragami. However, trouble seems to rise as something is going on with the God Eaters, resulting in a thinning line between dark and light and a new cry for battle.

At the moment there is no confirmed release date for the game but there is an official trailer up for viewing.
