Initial First Impression: Infini-T Force

Synopsis

Based on the series of the same name, this is a different take on the original story involving a young girl able to summon heroes from another world. Emi, a girl who found herself growing listless with the growing absence of her father finds her life changed with the appearance of a magical object and heroes from another world.

The Good

There’s alway a risk when an anime takes on a completely different style from the norm, especially if it is CG. Yet not only did this series make it work, but it made everything, from the action sequences to the motions of the characters seem so much smoother and near realistic if the designs were done a little differently. The general idea of the plot is interesting and the segway into introducing each of the characters had some good points to it as well. Overall the animation, art style, and general plot with characters all hold a unique potential to them

The Bad

The transitional work between scenes could have worked out better and when looking at the main character, she doesn’t really present much of a standout, or maybe it’s just a personal initial view. But it cannot be argued that in just this first episode, there is a list of cliches to go through already and the villains even come off as rather… in the simplest of terms, rather generic. While there is much potential to be found with the series there is also a high chance of predictability to be found as well.

Conclusion

There is both potential and predictable points to be found with just the intro in the expectation for future episodes but it cannot be denied  that the art and animation were smoothly executed even if the transitions and themes were not. Being an initial review this is but a partial judgement to a quick view of the first episode but it does have promise at least as a hero story with sci-fi themes.
