IDOLiSH7 Releases 2-minute First Episode Clip

A 2-minute sneak peek is up for the first episode of IDOLiSH7 coming in January 2018.Just uploaded today on the official website for the upcoming TV, this will be the second time that the clip has been released for showing.

The first time that the clip was shown was yesterday, September 10 at the  "IDOLiSH7 Fan Festival vol.2 ~ Kimi to Ai wo Kataranaito!” a.k.a. “Let’s Talk About Love Together More!" held at Yokosuka Art Theater in Kanagawa. During the event a confirmation of a new character was made. Her name is Tsumugi Takanashi, the daughter of the president of IDOLiSH7’s managing company and a previously unvoiced character of the game.

She will be played by Satomi Sato, the voice behind Dragon Slayer Wendy in “Fairy Tail.” Another revelation made at the event is that at a yet to be revealed location on November 2, there will be an advanced screening of the first two episodes of the anime.

IDOLiSH7 was first released on August 20, 2015 as a Japanese rhythm game and visual novel mobile app for the Android and iOS. It was released by Bandai Namco and has currently reached over 2 million downloads. Other than the upcoming anime set for Winter 2018, the game had also inspired multiple manga adaptations and a novelization.

The story of the game sets the player as, Tsumugi Takanasahi the new manager of the IDOLiSH7, a group of seven rookie idols looking to make it big in the entertainment world. Together they set out on a journey of experiences and challenges in the path towards being the best idols.
