Top Music of Madoka Magica Goes Vinyl with "Puella Magi Madoka Magica Ultimate Best"

“Puella Magi Madoka Magica Ultimate Best” gains a spot amongst the 51 analog records to be released on November 3. Announced yesterday by Aniplex, the album, which is also known as “Magica Ultimate Best” will be taking part of (Japanese analog company) Toyo Kasei organized event, “Record Day.”

Originally released August 9, the new best album contains 18 tunes/songs from the Madoka Magica franchise and in its first week, ranked at number 4 in the Oricon’s weekly album chart. Currently the album has sold over 19,000 units and has a two-disc limited-production set available for 5,400 yen (about 49 US dollars). Included for the LP Jacket is the same official art drawn by the film series’ co-character designer Junichiro Taniguchi for the CD.
