Jobs are open for Monolith Soft’s newest project as they open a recruitment website on Monday seeking the following:

• System/Framework Programmer

• Planner (Action Part)
Management Support
• Project Manager
All jobs are for an “ambitious” new work which "differs from [the company’s] brand image.” To mark the opening of the recruitment page is two images that hold little detail to them.
Monolith Soft is a Japanese video game development studio founded by Tetsuya Takahashi in 1999. The studio was opened by game designer Takahashi upon his completion of the game “Xenogears” at Squaresoft and to being rejected over creating a sequel for the game.
In 2000 to 2006; the game gained three more titles were produced by the development team who at the time worked under the subsidiaries of Namco. The name of the works are “Xenosaga Episode I”, “Episode II”, and “Episode III.”
Other than the three episodes there are also the “Xenoblade Chronicles” game as well including “Xenoblade Chronicles X” and “Xenoblade Chronicles 2” which will be released later this year.
When 2007 rolled in, Monolith Soft ended up falling under the subsidiary of Nintendo when the company bought all the shares from Bandai Norway.
The more popular games under this studio aside from the Xeno game include the latest in the Zelda series, “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, and the game featuring building a life with animal villagers, “Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.”
Tetsuya Takahashi, more than being a game designer is also recognized to be å game director, Chairman,CCO, President and Director of Monolith Soft.
He first began his career with the video game company Nihon Falcom Corporation in the 1980’s before later on moving to Squaresoft and the rest is history.
His more popular jobs included “Final Fantasy” works IV, V, VI, and VII where he worked on the battle and field graphics for the two former and took the role of graphic director and concept artist for the latter.
