On Sunday, there was a brief post made by Amuse Soft Entertainment on the second trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of the “Love and Lies” a.k.a “Koi to Uso” manga by Musawo. From this post, there was a reveal of three more cast, and details on the debut of the anime.
Love and Lies is a romance series which was launched in August of 2014 in the DeNA’s MangaBox app. It tells of a world where both telling lies and falling in love are considered as forbidden concepts. So in order to maintain this mindset, the government chooses a partner for all by the time that they turn 16 so to avoid the trouble of finding a compatible partners by themselves.
But there is a change about to happen in the air and it is centered upon the 15 year old Yukari Nejima. All in all he is an average male with average academics and athletic skills; but what makes him truly different is that within him lies a burning flame of passion! How will this flame fair in a world where love is forbidden and the young male falls in love?
At the moment the only staff that has been reported is the director working with LIDEN and he is Seiki Takuno. He is a storyboard artist, episode director and is the director of “Sekkō Boys” and “Poco’s Udon World.”
What the trailer has revealed so far is that the series will be airing an preview screening at Tokyo’s TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku theater on June 24 where cast members Hanazawa and Ohsaka will be making their appearance.
Also revealed in the trailer are three more cast members to be seen in the series. They consist of:
Ryota Ohsaka as Yukari Nejima
Kana Hanazawa as Misaki Takasaki
Yui Makino as Ririna Sanada
No other details have been revealed on the cast or staff in either the report nor the official site.
On another note there will be a live-action adaptation set in the world of the series but takes on a completely different story, involving original characters and a love story involving one girl and two boys.
