The Naruto manga series may have concluded with a very fulfilling end, the Boruto manga is something else to look forward to most especially if you just can’t get enough of the franchise.
In Nielsen BookScan’s April Top 20 List, the first volume of the manga created by Ukyo Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto is ranked number 2 on the list. With that said, the manga series is off to a good start and a good indicator that the readers have loved this series and there seems to be no chances of the hype to slow down.
Aside from Boruto, other popular Japanese manga titles also made it to the list like the volumes of Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, The Legend of Zelda, One-Punch Man, and Monster Musume. The rankings of BookScan represent the sales of leading international physical and online bookstores like Walmart.com, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other leading independent bookstores.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is a continuation as well as a spin-off of Masashi Kishimoto’s best-selling manga and anime series, Naruto. The story of the first manga is centered on Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja who ambitions to become the next Hokage in the village of Konoha. He was been shunned and isolated by the villagers for he possesses the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed inside his body. The story progressed with Naruto winning friends, conquering battles, and proving his worth to people who stand in his way.
In this new manga, Boruto is set four years after the Fourth Great Ninja War when Naruto finally became Hokage and married Hinata Hyuuga. The couple had two children namely Boruto and Himawari. The new manga features a new action packed adventure with some recurring characters like Sasuke Uchiha as well a new generation of ninjas in this new and epic adventure.
The Naruto franchise continues to stay strong even until the original series has ended. Expect more adventures as a new generation of ninjas await you in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations!
