A new trailer, new teaser, new mythical Pokemon and more cast have all been revealed on the official for the newest Pokemon film, “Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Kimi ni Kimeta! “ a.k.a. “Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!” With only months to go until the premier of the film on July 15, the newest trailer features protagonist Satoshi;s voice actor Rica Matsumoto singing “"Mezase Pokémon Master: 20th Anniversary.”
In both videos, the new mythical pokemon known as Marshadow has been identified. Marking his 20th consecutive role in Pokemon film by playing as the small ghost like pokemon is Kouicho Yamedara, the voice behind the constantly lost Ryoga Hibiki/P-chan in “Ranma ½” and the special inspector Ryoji Kaji of “Neon Genesis Evangelion”.
On another note, not only is the new mythical Marshadow being voiced by a recurring figure of the Pokemon films but the Pokemon will soon be able to become a part of the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games once the Pokemon company releases further details on how fans will be able to do this.
As for other members of the cast, marking her 11th consecutive appearance in the Pokemon films by playing as Nurse Joy is the voice behind characters Athena/Saori Kido of the series “Saint Seiya Omega” and Bihaku in the film “Magical Sisters Yoyo & Nene”, Shoko Nakagawa. Playing as a young trainer named Souji, who aims to become a professor is Kanata Hongue, the voice behind Ryouta Sakamoto of “Btooom!”.
Makoto, described as an energetic and strong-minded trainer will be played Shiori Satou. Last but not least, Arata Furata, the voice behind the character Watanabe of the film “Ancien and the Magic Tablet” and Yattaran of “Harlock: Space Pirate” will be playing as Bonjii, a researcher who is described to have been chasing after the legendary bird Pokemon known as Ho-oh.
