The Sword Art Online movie Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale premiered in Japan on Saturday. Before this grand premiere, a pre-film event happened on Wednesday which the augmented reality character Yuna performed the following songs from the film: “longing”, “Break Beat Bark!”, and “Ubiquitous dB”. After her performances, she introduced the next performer which was none other than LiSA!
LiSA sang the movie’s ending theme song “Catch the Moment”. As she was performing, utilized AR technology were used to display the art and the lyrics. She then said “I’m the real thing!” after her performance.
Director Tomohiko Ito also appeared in the event along with Yoichi Ochiai and Ayaka Ikezawa for the discussion panel related to SAO and the SAO movie. Ikezawa is a graduate from Keio University and is known as the “geek actress”. Ochiai is a researcher and artist known for this tactile and visual works combining analog and computer technology. He helped out with AR project for the said event.
With that said, Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale is an anime movie that you must not miss this year.
