A new live action adaptation brings in a new look into feminine looks with the manga series “Hito wa Mita Hi ga 100 Percent” a.k.a “Woman’s All About the Looks” by Okubo Hito. Announced in the fourth volume of the Kodansha’s Be-Love Magazine on Wednesday the adaptation is reported to occur during the month of April.
Launched in Be-Love in 2014, the story follows the lives of three female researchers, Jōnouchi, Satō, and Maeda. At one point in their lives they have turned their backs on the main factors of femininity with a variety of excuses. However, when they begin a special project researching on the aspect of “beauty” it is a stumble into a comedy filled road as the three women try and fail at being feminine In their quest for self-evaluation.
Currently not much detail has been given on the production of the adaption other than a confirmation of a release time. The manga itself will be continuing its serialization in the seventh issue of the Be-Love magazine on March 15. In additional news, actress, model and news anchor Mirei Kiritani shall be starring in the upcoming adaptation.
