Aniplus Asia to broadcast ‘Granblue Fantasy The Animation’

In its official Twitter account, Southeast Asian channel Aniplus HD announced that it will air Granblue Fantasy The Animation on Saturday, January 21, in Indonesia at 7:30 p.m., and in Thailand at 6:30 p.m.

An encore broadcast will also be available on Sunday, January 22 in Indonesia at 10:00 p.m., and in Thailand at 11:00 p.m.

SYNOPSIS (Aniplus Asia)
“Gran and Vyrn live on the sleepy, far-flung island of Zinkenstill. Their quiet lives are rocked by the sound of a sudden explosion and the sight of battleship in the sky. They follow a light that falls from the battleship into the forbidden woods, where they encounter a mysterious girl.”

Granblue Fantasy The Animation is directed by Yuuki Itou, who also directed the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime series, at A-1 Pictures. The anime is adapted from Cygames’s Granblue Fantasy for iOS and Android devices that was released in December 2013.
