Studio Ghibli movie fans rejoice!
It has recently been reported in an NHK TV Special (Owaranai Hito Miyazaki Hayao) that well-acclaimed anime director Hayao Miyazaki wants to return and make an anime full-length feature film for one last time.
After his announced retirement three years ago, he has returned to help work on “Kemushi no Boro” (Boro the Catepillar),an exclusive CG short for the Ghibli Museum in Japan. The conclusion of the project however did not satisfy him.
The TV special revealed that Miyazaki presented a feature-length film proposal back in August which will take around five years to complete. This upcoming Ghibli movie to be released before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Toshio Suzuki (Producer of Studio Ghibli) has stated that he will continue to help the studio by creating storyboard and promised that this next movie project will be a big hit for old and new fans.
