While Japanese fans already have their hands on the much-anticipated Persona 5 Royal since this October, Western fans still have to wait for Spring 2020 for its worldwide release. Fortunately for P5 fans, Atlus is set to make announcements for the Western market.

The 14th volume of the manga adaptation of Wataru Watari’s My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU. (original Japanese title: Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru or OreGairu for short) light novel series has just revealed that the manga is on its “last spurt”.

The 52nd issue of Shueisha’s Weeky Shonen Jump has just announced this Monday that dark fantasy manga Jujutsu Kaisen (literally Sorcery Fight) is set to get a television anime adaptation. This early on, a main cast has already been announced.

The official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of fashion manga Smile Down the Runway (Runway de Waratte) has just revealed a new TV commercial, which previews the anime’s opening theme song “Lion”.

2019 is a good year for Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Besides its anime adaptation being a resounding success, the manga was also recently announced to be a bestseller as well. Manga publisher Shueisha announced this Monday that Gotouge’s epic tale of the Kamado siblings has recently become the company’s second highest-selling manga for 2019.

Famitsu’s Video Game rankings last week revealed that the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch game Pokemon Sword and Shield immediately hit #1 in the ranks with 1,364,544 copies sold in Japan alone from November 11 to 17.

Besides a sneak peek into all the shenanigans, the PV also previews the quirky theme songs: the OP entitled “Take mo’ Chance” by the group all at once, and ED song “Freedom de Muda ni Muteki” by idol unit AOP.

Besides being a blockbuster hit in Japan and other countries, Makoto Shinkai’s latest work Weathering With You is also raking in awards. This Thursday, the film won the Best Animated Feature Film award at the 13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) held in Brisbane, Australia.
