Whether it’s an anime or manga series, we know too well that we wouldn’t be this much of a fanboy or fangirl if it weren’t for these awesome titles.

The highly anticipated games Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield were released last weekend. Although filled with a lot of mixed opinions from its loyal fanbase, it was able to hit a massive record of six million copies sold worldwide.

The official website of upcoming anime series A Destructive God Sits Next to Me (Boku no Tonari ni Ankoku Hakaishin ga Imasu) has just released a second promotional video for the comedy series. Besides a sneak peek into all the shenanigans, the PV also previews the quirky theme songs: the OP entitled “Take mo’ Chance” by the group all at once, and ED song “Freedom de Muda ni Muteki” by idol unit AOP.

Besides being a blockbuster hit in Japan and other countries, Makoto Shinkai’s latest work Weathering With You is also raking in awards. This Thursday, the film won the Best Animated Feature Film award at the 13th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) held in Brisbane, Australia.

This Wednesday it was announced via a newly-opened website that Takako Shimura’s Happy-Go-Lucky Days (Donika Naru Hibi) romance omnibus manga will be receiving an anime film adaptation. According to the announcement, the film will open for a limited run in select Japanese theaters next summer.

Good news to fans of Laid-Back Camp. TVTokyo announced this Wednesday that manga & anime series Laid-Back Camp (Yurukyan Δ) will be receiving a live-action series. The live-action series is set to premiere on TVTokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi on January 10 at 1:00 am in the Moku-Dra 25 timeslot.

Praise be the gods. The official website of the live-action adaptation of the Saint Young Men manga has just announced this Wednesday that the show’s third season is set to premiere on January 11 & 18, 2020 on the NHK channel.

Several news outlets reported that famous TV and movie actress Erika Sawajiri was arrested Saturday after being found in possession of illegal drugs. According to reports, the Metropolitan Police Department received a tip that Sawajiri was keeping drugs in her home.
