It was announced on Friday by Bandai Namco Entertainment that the released dates for the upcoming video game Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is moved to July 9 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and July 10 in PC via Steam. The game was originally intended to be released on May 21 (for Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia). So far new dates for the other regions have not been announced.
The reason for this move is due to the safety of the staff in the midst of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In relation to this announcement, Bandai Namco Entertained released a new trailer of the game mentioning the new release date.
