This Awesome Chun-Li Cosplayer is Helping Treating Coronavirus Patients

Behind all the awesome detailed costumes, bulky armor, and colorful wigs, are ordinary people with each have their own jobs and their own chosen career.

Yuan Herong is a cosplayer from China very notable for her awesome cosplays of memorable fighting game characters such as Chun Li from Street Fighter and Mai Shiranui from the King of Fighters.

On the talk of China, it has been a center of massive discussion internationally as it is the source of the deadly Coronavirus that has been mass spreading all around the world. As of this writing, the World Health Organization has declared a global emergency in relation to the spread of this virus.

Behind the awesome outfit that Yuan Herong wears in cosplay conventions and in photoshoots, she is actually a doctor and her recent posts on Instagram reveal her dedication to help the affected patients as it is part of her duty. “I’m a doctor. Must on the front line. Do my best to help the epidemic.” Says a caption of one of her IG posts.

In another post, she expressed: “171 cases of new pneumonia were cured and 15238 suspected cases were found,” she said, “The healers are all treated through traditional Chinese medicine and other symptomatic treatment. We will try our best to do a good job in prevention and treatment.”

While not on duty, she continues to work out while keeping her body healthy and in tip-top shape especially in cosplay. Hats off to you, Miss Yuan Herong. May you and the other medical professionals continue to do your part especially in this current health crisis.
