Posted in: Anime News

To those who are excited about the Hatsune Miku VR game, there still a little bit of waiting as the game release is delayed to December 5 in Japan. This has been confirmed by the Japanese PlayStation page. The game was originally intended to be released on November 12. No further reasons were mentioned for the sudden delay.

Hatsune Miku VR was originally released for the PC via Steam in March 2018. In the game, you will first be introduced with 8 notable Hatsune Miku songs with each song have two difficulty levels. The dance choreography for each song is portrayed by Miku. The PC version was released for 10 languages and is compatible with HTC Vive, Valve Index virtual reality systems, and Oculus Rift.

An app for the PlayStation VR by Sega called Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live was released in North America, Europe, and Japan on October 2016. During Tokyo Game Show 2015 and the Magical Mirai 2015 event, a demo of HATSUNE MIKU Project: VR Tech Demo was previewed.

Although this delay might be a minor letdown, let’s hope the wait is worth it.
