It was confirmed on Sunday in the official Twitter account of Japanese voice actress and singer Shoko Nakagawa that she will be forming the new ending theme song for the Pokémon Sun & Moon Anime titled “Type:Wild”.

The song is slated to debut in the anime on July 7. “Type:Wild” is arranged by Hyadain. A recent uploaded video shows Hyadain and Shoko Nakagawa discuss about the upcoming song. Nakagawa says that this ending theme is one song that everyone can jam with and can make everyone energetically swing a towel while listening.

Originally, the version of the “Type: Wild” theme song is performed by the voice of Satoshi (Ash), Rica Matsumoto, and is the fifth ending theme song of the ongoing anime series.

To those who want to own the single of Nakagawa’s version of the song, it will be bundled along with enka singer Sachiko Kobayashi, who have performed the new version of the song “Kaze to Issho ni”. It is scheduled to be released on July 10.

“Kaze to Issho ni” is Sachiko Kobayashi’s cover to the original theme song of Pokémon: The First Movie. It will server as the theme song for Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, a 3D CG remake of the anime film.
