It was announced on Saturday during the “Nyanpasu Matsuri Vacation Nanon”! event that the anime series Non Non Biyori is getting a third season. A promotional video on the announcement of the anime’s third season was also uploaded on the series’ official website.
The series previously had two anime seasons, 2 OVAs, and one anime film. The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in 2013 which was then followed with a second season in 2015. The anime film titled Non Non Biyori Vacation was screened in Japan on August 25.
Non Non Biyori is based from the manga series of the same created by Atto in 2009 and published in Monthly Comic Alive magazine. Its 13th compiled volume was released in Japan on November 21. Seven Seas Entertainment officially translates and publishes the manga in English.
