The first of the compilation films of Made of Abyss titled Made in Abyss: Journey’s Dawn is slated to premiere in US theaters on March 20 and 25. An English Dub trailer was uploaded by Sentai Filmworks on Tuesday.
Those who will be watching on March 20 will be screened in original Japanese language with English subtitles. The March 25 screening will be in English Dub. US screenings for the film will have “behind-the-scenes footage, Japanese created spots and a reflection on how MADE IN ABYSS mirrors fairytales.”
A red carpet premiere event was held at Regal Cinema (L.A. LIVE) in Los Angeles on March 15. Director Masayuki Kojima, music producer Hiromitsu Iijima, composer Kevin Penkin, and producer Shinpei Yamashita were present at the event as special guests.
The first film premiered in Japan on January 4, which was then followed with the second compilation film Wandering Twilight that premiered on January 18. Sentai Filmworks confirmed that they will be screening both films in the United States.
