The ‘Code Geass’ Recap Film Trilogy is Now Available for Digital Purchase!

Relive the nostalgia and hype of the Code Geass franchise as the three recap films are now available for digital purchase on Amazon via Funimation. Each digital purchase are available with original Japanese audio with subtitles.

The Code Geass recap film trilogy is a full recap of the whole 50 episode series which contains new scenes that were not included in the original anime as well as new voice over recording from the original Japanese cast.

Funimation announced last March for its license on the trilogy. Their announcement for getting its license to these films also happened during their panel in last year’s Anime Boston convention.

The first film Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion I – Initiation- premiered in Japan in 2017. This was then followed with Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion II – Transgression- that premiered February 2018. The third film titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion III – Glorification- premiered in Japanese theaters in May 2018.

The new film titled Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection official premiered in Japan on February 9. US screenings is also been planned by Funimation and is expected to premiere in May this year.
