It was announced on September of last year that CLAMP’s hit work Cardcaptor Sakura will be getting a smartphone game, Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories. Along with the official announcement by Bushiroad, they also posted a PV of the game which you can watch below:

In the video above fans also get to hear a sneak preview of the game’s theme song, “Flash”, written and arranged by Keiichi Tomita and performed by Maaya Sakamoto. Sakamoto has also performed other songs for the famous animé franchise, such as “Platinum” (Purachina) from the animé’s third season.

On Valentine’s Day Bushiroad began streaming a new PV for the game, which gives fans a peek into the cute graphics of each character!

Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories also features the original voice cast of the animé such as Sakura Tange as Sakura Kinomoto, Motoko Kumai as Li Shaoran, Junko Iwao as Tomoyo Daidouji, Aya Hisakawa as Keroberos, and Megumi Ogata as Yue/Yukito.

The game, which is based on the manga’s Clear Card arc, tasks players to manage a miniature garden in Sakura’s hometown Tomoeda. Players get materials to reproduce Sakura’s costumes as mission rewards. Costumes that will be featured are not only limited to the ones seen in the Clear Card arc, as the game will also include costumes from other seasons of the animé. The game will also feature new illustrations and game-original stories.

Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories is developed by Monstar Lab. Bushiroad is publishing the game this 2019. Cardcaptor Sakura-Clear Card Arc was launched by CLAMP in June 2016 as a sequel to the original Cardcaptor Sakura manga, which ended in 2000.
