Yuri Fair 2019’s Key Visual Features 'Bloom Into You'

Posted in: Anime News

The upcoming Yuri Fair has released its key visual for this year, and it features an original Bloom Into You illustration by Nakatani Nio. Besides Nakatani’s illustration, the key visual also features a girls’ love live-action photography by photographer Minori Takahashi. Check it out below:

Nakatani Nio’s Bloom into You or Yagate Kimi ni Naru was first serialized in Dengeki Daioh on April 2017. The manga revolves around Koito Yuu, who wants to feel how being in love feels like, yet fails to reciprocate a love confession she got in junior high. Upon entering high school, she witnesses student council president Nanami Touko turn down a confession. They initially bond because of their shared sentiments toward love, when suddenly Nanami herself confesses her feelings to Yuu. A TV anime adaptation by TROYCA was aired from October to December 2018.

This year’s Yuri Fair will also expand into a five-city tour. Village Vanguard, who hosts the event, announced that the girls’ love event will be held in five locations in different cities, with the event kicking off on March 16 in Tokyo’s Japanese Restaurant Sacra in Shibuya. After one week, the exhibit will be moved to the seventh floor of the Namba Parks office space in Osaka, Sendai Forus shopping mall in Aoba, Sendai, and the Loft Nagoya shop in Naka, Nagoya. The exhibit’s final stop is in Fukuoka, though there is no specified location yet.
Creators who will participate in the event are yet to be announced in Yuri Fair’s official website.
