Historical Drama Manga Series ‘Ichigeki’ Gets Film Adaptation

It was announced on the fourth compiled volume of Ichigeki manga on Thursday that the history drama manga series is confirmed to have a film adaptation.

Ichigeki is created by Jiro Matsumoto and it is a period drama based on the novel Bakumatsu Ichigeki Hissatsu-tai (Bakumatsu One-Hit Kill Team) by Yoshio Nagai.

The manga adaptation was launched in Comic Ran manga in April 2016. It is center on a farmer named Ushigoro who joins a special fighting force with other farmers.
