Puppet Series ‘Thunderbolt Fantasy’ Confirmed to have a Third Season!

It was revealed in the 13th and final episode of the second season Thunderbolt Fantasy on Monday that it is confirmed to be getting a third season.

The series was written by Gen Urobuchi (notable for writing the script for the Madoka Magica anime) with character designs by Nitroplus and Good Smile Company as “modeling adviser” for the series. It is notable for using puppetry and centered on a Wuxia theme.

Thunderbolt Fantasy made its debut on July 2016 which was then followed with the film Thunderbolt Fantasy: The Sword of Life and Death that premiered in Japan in December 2017. The second season was aired in Japan on October 1.
