More is revealed for the “Detective Conan World” attractions to be featured at the upcoming “Universal Cool Japan 2019” campaign.

It was in November that “Detective Conan” was confirmed to return for the campaign. There will be three different attractions for the franchise. They consist of an escape game, a mystery challenge, a restaurant and are all in line with the upcoming film “Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire”, which is slated for release on 12th April 2019

With the escape game, it is titled “Detective Conan The Escape – Prussian Blue Prologue” and is set to run from January 18 – June 23, 2019. The game is in correspondence to the prologue of the film and features players being able to team-up with Conan. Set in "a certain Western-style house,” players assist the detective in searching for a valuable jewel hidden by Kaito Kid while going through a variety of traps and puzzles.

The mystery challenge game is called the “Detective Conan Mystery Challenge” and is a rally type event that will run from January 18 – May 26, 2019. Featuring Heiji Hattori, participants join him in finding and interpreting hidden ciphers and clues, all the while helping Heiji stop Kaitou Kid from making off with the aforementioned valuable jewel.

As for the “Detective Conan Mystery Restaurant”, it is a new restaurant owned by the Suzuki family and is equipped with what Makoto Kyogoku claims to be the “world’s strongest security system.” While diners enjoy their meal, they can also watch a battle unfold between Shinichi Kudo and Kaito Kid featuring live actors. The restaurant will be running from January 18 – May 26, 2019, and is located in Lombard’s Landing.

“Universal Cool Japan” is an event that has been going on since 2015. For the following year, it will be running from Friday, January 18 through Sunday, August 25, 2019. This is by far the longest the event has run given its commemoration to its 5th anniversary. The event is known for featuring a variety of well-known entertainment brands ranging from manga/anime to games, music, and fashion with different sites and attractions. For the upcoming “Universal Cool Japan”, the franchises to be featured include “Sailor Moon”, “Godzilla”, “Evangelion”, “Attack on Titan,” and “Lupin III” along with “Detective Conan”
