It was previously announced that “The Royal Tutor’s” upcoming film along with its stage musical would be featuring two new characters and now the cast for the twins have been confirmed for both by Avex.
The twin characters are known as the sadistic “Twin Princes” of the Romano kingdom Ivan and Eugene Aleksandrovich Romano and their cast members will be playing for both the film and the musical. Playing as Ivan is Shōhei Hashimoto, the voice behind Yurio Mizukami in “Chōjigen Kakumei Anime: Dimension High School.” On the other hand, cast to play as Eugene is Shōgo Sakamoto. Prior to being cast for the film and musical, Sakamoto had performed the opening theme of the anime.
“The Royal Tutor” film is set to release on February 16, 2019, and features returning staff and cast. Included in the staff are director Katsuya Kikuchi, scriptwriter Kimiko Ueno and character designer Rena Okuyama. Also included in the staff are Hozumi Gōda and Keiji Inai as sound director and music composer, respectively.

The stage musical, which is titled Ōshitsu Kyōshi Heine – The Musical II – (The Royal Tutor The Musical II) is set to run in Tokyo and Kobe in April 2019 and will be featuring the cast playing their roles. From April 11 to 14, the musical set for Tokyo will be showing in Tokyo Dome City Hall. As for its showing in Kobe, it will be held from April 27 to 28 at the Kobe International House Kokusai Hall.
On another note, the staff has announced that the “P4 with T” group which is of the voice actors for Heine and the four main princes will be performing the ending theme of the film. It is titled “Tomodachi Ijō x Teki Miman” (More Than Friends x Less Than Enemies) and will have a single shipped on February 8.
“The Royal Tutor” anime is based on the comedy manga by Higasa Akai. It made its debut in Japan in April 2017 and ran for a total of 12 episodes until June 2017. As for the first musical of the franchise, it was directed by Kōtarō Yoshitani and ran in Tokyo and Osaka in September 2017.
The main story of the series tells of Heine Wittgenstein, a man who is often mistaken for a child given his looks and stature. He has been summoned to the palace by the king to act as the tutor of the kingdom’s four princes. It seems that the four has driven away every tutor prior to Heine and now the new tutor faces the challenge of being acknowledged as their tutor before getting to their lessons.
