Netflix Introduces an Original Police Thriller Anime This December

There have been many different original series released by Netflix and now the media-provider reveals an original anime set for this December. Titled as “HERO MASK”, different staff, cast and other details have already been confirmed for the series.

The series will be featuring a “crime action” police thriller work taking focus on a detective struggling to make sense out of a mysterious outbreak of masked people committing crimes. It will be making its debut on December 03, 2018 with a worldwide release and is listed with 15 episodes. A summary of the series has been posted on the English language home page is describing the film as follows:

Now there’s a mysterious Mask before James Blood, and the man behind it is one that shouldn’t exist. What is the mystery surrounding this mask…? So begins an action-packed crime story set in a beautiful city!

Working on the series as the director is Hiroyasu Aoki, an episode director of the “HunterxHunter” series who is also working as the series composer for the original anime. Taking on the character designs for “HERO MASK” is Takahisa Katagiri, an artist known to have worked on the key animation of “Haikyuu” and “Kuroko’s Basketball.” As for the music of the series, it will be composed by Hisaki Kato.

The series will be having its animation production done by Studio Pierrot, a studio known for having produced some of the most widely known anime including, “Naruto”, “Bleach” and “Tokyo Ghoul.” And the general production of the series will be done by HERO MASK Production Committee.
