Get ready for more laughs and adventure as the 27th film of the Crayon Shin-chan franchise is slated to premiere in Japan in April 2019. The film’s confirmed title is Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shinkon Ryokō Hurricane ~ Ushinawareta Hiroshi ~ (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Honeymoon Hurricane, Lost Hiroshi) and the plot is inspired by the popular Indiana Jones franchise. Its subtitle is apparently a reference to the Japanese film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The official website for the Crayon Shin-chan anime films revealed the upcoming movie’s official logos and teaser video.

The film is set in Australia and the Nohara family is on a family-friendly and inexpensive honeymoon trip discovered by Misae. Their vision of a perfect vacation took a different turn as Misae, Hiroshi, and their children get themselves in an adventure they will never forget. Hiroshi was taken away just soon after they arrived from Australia and it is up to the rest of the family to rescue him while dealing with treasure hunters and a mysterious masked group.

This will be the first Crayon Shin-chan anime film that Yumiko Kobayashi will be voicing the title role. She took over the voice of the main character Shin-chan in July after its original voice actress Akiko Yajima have announced that she will no longer be doing the role. The other main cast are confirmed to reprise their roles for this film. Director will be Masakazu Hashimoto who has also directed the three previous anime films of the franchise.
